Info: Easterhouse were the best political band of the 80s known for jangly guitars and leftist political leanings. Formed in Manchester by the Perry Brothers in the mid-80’s they first came to prominence after being championed by Morrissey. They signed to Rough Trade Records and the single ‘Whistling In The Dark’ was Top 5 independent chart hit.
